When Ibanez shocked the world and released the first 7-string electric guitar 30 years ago, little did anyone realize then just how much the instrument would change guitar-driven music forever. Korn was arguably the first musical act to take these instruments and realize their full sonic potential, shaping a sound that would be responsible for creating a whole new movement in music. Korn and Ibanez designed the K7 signature model in the early 2000s, creating an instrument that was able to match Korn’s unparalleled uniqueness.
