Offered for sale is a cornerstone of modern guitar history: An original Markusch Prototype, handcrafted by Alexander Markusch.
This instrument is one of only three prototypes produced worldwide, commissioned directly by Gibson during the pre-production phase of the Paul Landers Signature series. Gibson tapped Markusch’s expertise to test different tonewood combinations to find the ultimate sonic foundation for Paul Landers’ industrial sound.
Personal Provenance:
The original signature by Paul Landers on the headstock (dated 2018) was personally signed during a visit to Paul’s home in Berlin. This took place during a professional collaboration involving my company, BlueAmps. This provides the highest level of authentication and a direct link to the artist.
Since 2018, this guitar has been a centerpiece of my recording studio. Beyond its sentimental value, it caught the eye of every client and artist who walked through the door. Its radical industrial aesthetic and the story of its creation as a Gibson-commissioned prototype make it a true conversation starter that demands attention.
