Modified Magnecord PT6J Mic Pre / DI / Guitar Amp w Triad Transformers and 6V6

Restored Magnecord tube amplifier from the 1950’s, modified for modern studio applications. Has Triad transformer mic input w 70dB gain, tube Direct input for instruments, Line Input and balanced output attenuator which allows the engineer to drive the front end from any mic/line/hi-z source into saturation and trim the output level to the recorder to prevent overload. Has a built in 5” jensen speaker which can be used w any source (built in tube amp) , speaker can be switched on/off. there is also a 1/4” 8ohm speaker output for external speaker cab.

one of the most useful pieces here in our studio, we run several and use them daily. i am certain you will feel the same. once properly modified these are on par w a Telefunken v76, Langevin 117 or any of the much more expensive program amplifiers of the same era
