BASF Ferrochrom SM 90 (Pair) - Type III Analog Tape - Open/Unused
Authentic 1970s Analog Warmth - Ideal for Studio Use.
This listing is for two (2) BASF Ferrochrom (FeCr) 90 minute cassette tapes. While the outer cellophane has been removed, these tapes are unused/blank and in excellent condition.
Verification of Unused Status:
- Record Tabs Intact: Have never been recorded on.
- Pristine Condition: Pressure pads are clean; J-cards (inlays) are blank with no writing.
- Tape Quality: Magnetic surface is smooth and clean.
Engineering: These are Type III tapes, known for a unique "warm" sound signature that combines the punchy low-end of Ferric oxide with the crisp highs of Chromium Dioxide.
Studio Note: Ensure your deck has a dedicated "FeCr" or "Type III" selector to get the correct bias/EQ for recording.
