Used handset of a telephone booth was fitted with two plugs.
Both sides, microphone and earpiece, are wired and can be used individually as effect microphones. I use a DI-box to link it to the audio inputs. Since is the earpiece is originally a speaker and the mouthpiece is a microphone they sound rather different. I usually track them together on a stereo track so I can later chose between them or even use them together or panned left and right.
