The Soft Start from WMD is an inline buffer module that goes in between your power supply and modules that draw high current on power up. This module is a simple tool for ensuring that Eurorack modules power on consistently. Use this to ensure a reliable power up each time you turn on your case! When connected between bus power and the module's power inlet, the WMD Soft Start module delays current draw from the +12V rail by 400ms so the power supply is not overdrawn during start-up.
Features:- 400 ms delay of power to the 12V rail
- Can handle 500mA per rail
- Does not delay 5V rail
- Passes CV and gate signals
- Reverse polarity protected
