Wilkinson 4+1 5 String Bass Conversion 80’s - Chrome

Don’t buy a 5 string bass. Just convert one of the many P Basses you have laying around with this old, but never used 5 string conversion kit. It probably works best to use it on a P Bass because you need more nut width than a jazz bass. The bridge replaces your standard Fender bridge. The D string is tuned at the bottom and the ball end of that string it tethered at the headstock by and nifty little string tree replacement part that locks the ball end in place.
It comes with a nut blank that you need to cut yourself (or take to a luthier) and a 5th string for tuning to B.
I installed one of these years ago and it worked great! The spacing is a little tight but easy to get used too. New old stock and quiet rare.
