Hofner doubleneck bass and guitar, semi solid body, all original, very good working condition.
This one is a piece of music history and not a pretty made up showpiece, but a true witness of its decade, the roaring Sixties. Just to have it mentioned, the bottom frame shows a tiny little crack, which had been repaired properly years ago.
As the HOFNER records show they made these models from 1962 up to 1965 After that they made the totally different looking model 191 (II) with two Cutaways and different electrics.
It is not possible to fix an exact date of manufacturing. From 1963 they fitted the instrument with a celluloid binding around top and back and changed pu's. So this one is rather a 1963-65 model.
The new case is included and it is modified to fit for this piece of history.
