Ribbecke Monterey Arctop 2013 Vintage Sunburst Lacquer

My friend who is a great movie Composer ordered this from Tom and asked him to create  a sunburst that looked vintage and make this guitar a special example of a Ribbecke Monterey Archtop!!  Tom pulled out all of the stops and did his large peg head and some spectacular woods in addition to the awesome finish he applied.  This guitar is virtually unplayed.  The buyer wanted to learn to play Jazz but just has not gotten around to it so he would love to put it in the hands of a player that can appreciate it.  The specs are typical a Monterey Archtop at 17 inches with a 1-3/4 nut.  The action and neck are perfect in perfect Ribbecke tradition.  The sound is beautiful well balanced with lots of overtones when played up high and the sustain is the best I have ever heard from an Archtop guitar.  Honestly, they don't get any better.  This baby is stunning in every way.   Thanks a lot for stopping by.
