Greco EG-800R Shigeru Narumo Model Rare! U-2000 1975 Gneco

This may be the best Greco single cut model ever made! Known as the “Shigeru Narumo” model, this guitar has a belly cutout in the back and a slightly thinner neck, both modifications to make the guitar more comfortable. It also features the original Maxon U-2000 pickups which are date coded to 1975 and sound fantastic! This guitar has a pancake mahogany body with a solid maple cap, tremendous sustain and beautiful wood grain throughout. It’s a great playing and incredible sounding guitar, don’t pass up this rare and collectible gem!

These are some dings around the edges of the guitar and some moron carved palm trees into the back but they aren’t that noticeable. The tuners look great and work as they should. The end pin looks like it may have been pushed into the body at one point but it’s solid and secure. There is evidence of paint loss on the pickups and find checking in the neck binding. There is also a ground wire going from the bridge to the volume pot. See pictures for condition details.
