Tonemaster Custom is the upscale variant of the Tonemaster JH Special. It comes with all solid woods and a different pickups set. Tonemaster Custom kicks off with a fully hollow, double cutaway body made of solid maple back and sides and solid spruce top. The top is bound in multiple layers of binding and carved with bound "f" holes. The bridge on this Tonemaster is made of rosewood base with tune-o-matic top. It is paired with a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece. Pickup combo consists of two humbuckers. They are controlled through three volume and one tone knob. Pickups switch is a three-way toggle. Neck is made of maple with a C contour. The fingerboard is made of rosewood. It comes with 20 frets, split block inlays and 1.69" wide string nut.
