Like Michael Kelly, I consider the Johnson (AXL) line of guitars to be quite underrated. Obviously their natural wood guitars are quite pleasing to the eye. But this one's tone also has some perfect "nastiness" to it, if you know what I mean. It sounds fine played clean but really kicks with some overdrive!
My second of these and both times I have had to sell due to financial hardships.
