Gazzbass Scarab Series I Original Prototype 2015

Introducing the ORIGINAL Gazzbass Scarab Series I bass guitar, a bass that can take you to those forgotten kingdoms. This is the VERY FIRST Scarab prototype!

With its characteristic growl, it can creep up on you. And when it's solo time, nothing steps in its path.

I am proud to bring you the original Gazzbass Series I prototype!

Whether it be metal, funk, jazz or any other genre, the Scarab will have you covered.

The original Series I body is made from Zebrawood, a wood that is too beautiful to paint.

Therefore, all Scarab Series I's are hand finished with eco-friendly water based polyurethane.

Also different from it's Series II counterpart, the Series I has two dual-coil Musicman style double-humbucker pickups, with big output!

The electronics are active, requiring a 9-volt PP3 type battery. The battery compartment is conveniently located at the back of the bass, behind the bridge.

The neck is a bolt-on, allowing easy maintenance.

Small bodied, sleek and yet powerful, the Scarab will give years of enjoyment to its owner!

IMPERFECTIONS:

Discoloration of the tuning heads.

Light scratches on hardware and finish only noticeable under certain lighting conditions.

Rear control cover plate imperfections. NOTE: RECENTLY BEEN REPLACED, SEE PHOTOS

Small dents around the rear control plate.
