Gazzbass Scorpion Concept 2020 Translucent Purple

Introducing the Gazzbass Scorpion concept bass guitar, a complete one-off bass that continues the Ancient Egypt motif of the Gazzbass line.
With it's sweeping lines, its menacing looks and a superlative tone reminiscent of a high-end Jazz Bass, the Scorpion excels!
Whether it be metal, funk, jazz or any other genre, the Scorpion will have you covered.
The Scorpion's body is made from Swamp Ash, a beautiful tone wood that is light and resilient.
The body is dyed and hand finished with either eco-friendly Tung Oil or water based wipe-on polyurethane.
The Scorpion delivers its distinctive range of sounds via a bridge dual-coil Musicman style double-humbucker pickup, and a neck single coil Jazz Bass pickup.
The electronics are active, requiring a 9-volt PP3 type battery. The battery compartment is conveniently located at the back of the bass, behind the bridge.
The whole system runs off a 9-volt PP3 type battery. The neck LED's take very little power.
The neck is a bolt-on, allowing easy maintenance. In the LED neck model, the neck has spring contacts that make an electrical connection in the neck heel pocket.
No messing around with connectors, and easy to clean!
Ominous, menacing, yet oddly beautiful, the Scorpion will give years of enjoyment to its owner!
I only ever made one Scorpion bass but, if demand dictates, I will make more!

IMPERFECTIONS:
Scratched and imperfections in the finish.
Light scratches on the hardware, only noticeable under certain lighting conditions. "Slap marks" at the neck-body side by the G-string due to enthusiastic playing!
