Sonor Artist 13x5 27ply earth snare (JoJo Mayer) Earth veneer

This is the later run of these, that features the round badge (not the old oval one) and more importantly, the duel glide throw off. This was co-developed by JoJo Mayer but used by a variety of well known drummer. These are becoming very hard to find and are quite the collectable especially this later version.

The shell is a super heavy (and loud) 13x5 27ply German beech shell. The hardware is gold plated and the finish (that is now unfortunately discontinued) is called earth.

This drum has seen very little use, the head is the original and has never been taken of. I have replaced the reso head with an Evans hazy 300 but can also supply the original reso.

The snare is in immaculate condition, especially considering it’s age, there is not a scratch to be seen. The hardware has a few finger marks but I have decided not to polish it due to fear of damaging the plating.

The price is firm I’m afraid, but I think it’s safe to say you’re money will be safe in this little investment as these become harder and harder to find.
