Tokai LS-150 Vintage Sunburst 1982
Stunning vintage Tokai with solid flame top, one-piece mahogany back and '59 style neck profile. Great sounding, clear and articulate Les Paul. A few, very well carried out repairs (see details).
Body: Solid flame-maple top, and one-piece mahogany body. Vintage Sunburst nitrocellulose finish.
Neck: One-piece mahogany neck with long-tenon and dark rosewood fretboard.
Pickups and electronics: Original Dimarzio PAF in neck position and Dimarzio Super Distortion in bridge position. Double cream bobbins. The guitar is wired 50's style with new, hand-picked 500K Alpha pots and upgraded caps for scrath-free operation. 50's wiring retains highs when turned down.
Hardware: New Gotoh tuners and ABR-1 bridge (one saddle replaced). Original parts except noted.
Cosmetic Condition: In very nice condition overall. Minor belt buckle rash on the back. Faded 'Love Rock' logo and small headstock issues. One scar on the back of the neck.
Repairs/mods: Professional refret. Finish touch-ups to two tuner holes. Filled two strap button holes on the back. Professional neck over-spray.
Playability: The guitar has been re-fretted. It intonates nicely, with nice and low action.
Weight: 4.2 kg
Case: Gator Lifton-style.
