North Hollywood, California, May 19, 2018 Arcane, Inc. and Bass Exchange Amp Shop announces the release of Precision bass P65L hum-canceling pickup for electric Precision (P-bass) Bass.
These days, it seems as if everyone is looking for the legendary sound, dynamics and warmth of original Vintage P-Bass pickups.
Utilizing Amp Shop's pre-CBS "L series" 1965 Sunburst Precision Bass for reference, Arcane Inc. used the same materials as 1965 and decades of winding experience to create the Vintage correct Reproduction of P-Bass "L" 65 pickups.
Rob Timmons says the P65L model was built following an old hand made recipe with special unique details that were exclusive to the 1965 P Bass.
We started with a Custom Alnico 5 magnet. The 42 AWG enamel wire coils are dipped and hand wound. The pickup is tuned to capture the unique voice and dynamics of our Amazing real 1965 L-series P bass.
All materials are made in the U.S.A. and are an exact replica of our own 1965 P-Bass pickups.
Like the vintage P-Bass pickups, the P65L model has perfect harmonic range with exactly the right amount of oomph. It has a subtle roll off on the top end that sweetens the Highs and gives depth to the Lows.
Arcane PBL 65 pickups are made in the U.S.A., and may now be ordered for immediate delivery.
