A flagship near-field monitor featuring a 2.5-way design and passive side radiators.
The Focal Shape Twin is a professional monitor designed for near-field use. It is equipped with two 8-inch passive radiators positioned on the sides, two woofers with linen-coated cones, and a newly designed 1-inch ‘M’-profile tweeter made from aluminium and magnesium.
The monitor is manufactured in France and combines a 2.5-way design with settings optimised for the acoustics of small monitoring rooms. A wide low-frequency response, high SPL and precise midrange reproduction make it easier to control the mix.
Thanks to the passive side-mounted radiators, the monitor can be placed close to a wall without losing control over the low frequencies. The low-mounted tweeter increases flexibility in terms of listening position, whilst numerous adjustment options allow the monitor to be tailored to the room.
The Focal Shape Twin offers a wide and precise stereo image and a clear midrange without any masking effect. The compact enclosure makes it easy to integrate the monitor even in small rooms.
