The Avenir Modern Heavy Ride Cymbal 20" applies the Modern collection’s brilliant-finish bell and inner bow with natural-finish outer section to a 20-inch heavy ride cymbal format. This hybrid layout is designed for bright, controlled shimmer and clear projection in a full mix.
Modern blends the crystalline cymbal character associated with the 1990s with more complex contemporary overtones, creating the textured response Avenir calls a “grumpy shimmer.” Modern Series cymbals include a 2-year warranty.
