The Bourgeois mandolin series was born from the long-held vision of guitar builder Dana Bourgeois. This is an exceptional pre-owned M5-F with a beautifully crafted scroll.

Designed by Dana Bourgeois, who personally hand-selects the highest-grade torrefied materials, this mandolin is carefully built at the workshop of Eastman, one of the world’s most popular string-instrument brands. Its aged-tone amber coloring is particularly beautiful, making it a mandolin that is a pleasure to own.

The tailpiece features an innovative Bill James design with a hinged cover. This prevents common issues such as forgetting the cover or dropping it during string changes—a truly thoughtful blend of tradition and innovation.

Its sound remains full even in the upper positions, with crystal-clear highs and a strong, projecting voice when played with a pick. It is an excellent match for classic bluegrass styles, while remaining versatile enough for a wide range of musical situations.

With almost no noticeable scratches, it remains in near-new condition. This natural-finish F-style mandolin is also highly recommended for players who are considering taking up mandolin and want an instrument with distinctive character.
