Mint condition 2020 CE24 Standard Satin - CharcoalComes with Deluxe PRS gig bag and all case candy as shown in above picture number one. Ships in original PRS guitar Box.This was a European exclusive small run of open-grain CE24s bought brand new from Wildwire Guitars in the UK. It is mint condition and has never left my non-smoking, non-pet home studio. It is completely scratch and dent free, but does have a very small area of ”glossing“ of the satin finish just under the Treble pickup from turning the volume dial. This is very hard to photograph and is very angle dependent to even see it. Best seen in the fourth photograph and almost undetectable in the fifth picture with a very slight angle change.There are two modifications from stock. The cream 3-way switch toggle was replaced with a metal knurled toggle as shown in picture five. The cream toggle is included if you prefer to change it back. Secondly, I did install a trem blocker in the trem cavity as shown in picture six. This allows you to down trem, but not up trem to keep tuning stability. When unengaged (as in picture six), it does nothing. It could be completely removed with a screw driver and leave only a small hole in trem cavity.Since the dawn of rock and roll, the snap and response that comes from a bolt-on neck guitar has been an essential part of the mix. To further maximize the guitar’s inherent tone and clarity, the CE 24 features PRS 85/15 pickups, which Paul designed to have remarkable clarity as well as an extended high and low end. The electronics consist of a volume and push/pull tone control with 3-way toggle switch for a total of six classic sounds.The original CE was introduced in 1988 and offered players PRS design and quality with the added snap and sparkle of traditional bolt-on guitars.
