About this listing
For your consideration is this rare 1987 Ibanez RG440p, P for power series. Only a 1 year model in 1987. Made in Japan. Satriani used a similar model on the cover of “Not of this earth”. All original except a pair of early Seymour Duncan stacked humbuckers installed. Bridge PU is the stock Ibanez distortion which sounds great. The Duncan’s are very ’stratty’ And blends well with the humbucker. Currently set up with 8s. Action is low, all switches work, Floyd Rose is set up correctly and original bar is included. Nice and fast early wizard style neck. It will ship in an old generic hard case. A clean 80s rock machine.
