Detailed scans of the best Vintage originals provide the basis for historically correct shaping and a first-class playing feel, while custom bucker pickups and a circuit with paper in oil capacitors allow the electric guitar to follow in the footsteps of the legendary PAF sound. Last but not least, the typical Vintage-Style Hardware with ABR-1 bridge and Kluson tuners completes the 1959 ES-335 Reissue semi-acoustic guitar from Gibson. Historically correct constructionThe construction of the 1959 Reissue E-335 guitar is naturally historically correct with the tonewoods of the Fifties, whereby detailed scans of the Vintage originals guarantee an accurate reproduction of all shaping, from the "mouse ears" of the body to the neck profile. and Feedback without impairing the airy, resonant sound of the guitar, the body made of the typical maple-poplar laminate is stabilized by a maple center block. The mahogany neck, glued with Hide-Glue and long tenon, promises optimum playing characteristics with its pleasantly strong "'50s Rounded Medium C" profile up to the 22nd fret of the rosewood fingerboard, in which the historically documented Dot Inlays naturally mark the positions. Custombucker pickupsTo ensure that the '59 Reissue ES-335 also meets all vintage requirements in terms of sound, it is equipped with Gibson Custombucker pickups in the neck and bridge position. Thanks to Alnico III magnets and non-waxed coils, the humbuckers follow in the footsteps of the legendary PAF pickups and deliver a particularly airy sound that is characterized by the resonance-friendly character of the Semi-Hollow construction and is ideally suited to the classic styles of blues, rock and jazz. A hand-wired circuit with historically correct oil paper capacitors guarantees optimum adaptability of the sound image with smooth Treble roll-offs. Classic hardware equipmentOf course, the typical hardware equipment of the late fifties completes the 1959 ES-335 Reissue Vintage Burst Semi-Hollow guitar from Gibson. The body features the duo established by Ted McCarty, consisting of a lightweight aluminium stopbar and the ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, which enables precise adjustment of intonation and string action. Behind the nylon saddle, Kluson tuners in historically correct single line/single ring design ensure robust and precise tuning of the electric guitar.
