Standard bass drum beaterRound felt beater headMetal beater shaft6" short shaftWeight: approx. 87 gSuitable for most standard bass drum pedal setsFelt head for a warm, controlled bass drum soundImmediate response and fast rebound thanks to the short shaftSuitable as a replacement or spare beaterClassic felt beater for a round bass drum sound with a defined attackThe Gibraltar SC-3261 is a classically designed bass drum beater with a felt head and metal shaft. Compared to harder materials such as plastic or wood, felt offers a rounder attack without completely sacrificing a clearly defined attack. This makes the beater suitable for a variety of musical styles and bass drum tunings.Short shaft for direct responseThe 6" long shaft promotes direct pedal response and a fast rebound. Weighing around 87 g, the beater remains light and responsive. A rounded sound with a controlled attackWhen striking the bass drum head, the felt head produces a warm and controlled fundamental tone. Compared to beaters with a harder striking surface, the attack is less sharp, yet remains distinct enough to deliver a defined bass drum strike.
