The bolt-on, one-piece maple neck with its remarkable "'54 C" profile sits snugly but comfortably in the hand, and with its 43.2 mm nut width, it offers ample room for the clean implementation of classic bass techniques. Authentic vintage soundsA replica of a '54 P-Bass, the American Vintage II Precision Bass naturally comes with a Pure Vintage '54 single coil in the middle position of the body. Accurately wound to historical specifications, the single coil, in conjunction with the factory-wound flatwound strings, elicits an authentic Vintage-Sound with surprisingly high punch and a natural compression that subtly supports Bass playing.
