About this listing
Selling with an Epiphone hardcase. Made in 2002 at the Samick factory in Korea, this Epiphone Sheraton is a great example of Epiphone's most iconic semi-hollow guitar. Korean-built Sheratons from this period have become highly regarded for their build quality, craftsmanship, and impressive playability. With a lovely Vintage Burst finish, this Sheraton combines classic looks with a wonderfully versatile voice. The laminated maple body with centre block offers warmth, sustain and feedback resistance, while the pair of humbuckers provide everything from smooth jazz cleans and bluesy warmth through to classic rock crunch. The mahogany neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard featuring the Sheraton's signature pearl and abalone block and beautifully colourful triangle inlays, while the elegant multi-ply binding, gold hardware and iconic Tree of Life headstock inlay make this one of Epiphone's most distinctive designs. Sold with original Ephipone hard case with black faux fur lining. I have owned this guitar since bought new in 2002 and, other than one light finish ding on the upper side and sone tarnish on the tailpiece, it is in truly excellent original condition. The tone pots have recently been professionally replaced to remove some buzz.2002, Samick, KoreaVintage Burst finishLaminated maple bodyCentre block constructionMahogany neckRosewood fingerboardPearl & abalone block and triangle inlays2 x humbucking pickupsIndependent volume controlsIndependent tone controls3-way pickup selectorTune-O-Matic bridgeStopbar tailpieceGold hardwareMulti-ply body, neck and headstock bindingEpiphone hardcase
