The Bock Audio 251 follows designer David Bock's mission statement to a "T" -- to produce top-caliber condenser microphones which take inspiration from the beloved classics, but genuinely improve upon their sound and function for today's studios. Closely modeled after the original Telefunken ELA M 251E, the most expensive and collectable vintage tube microphone, the Bock 251 is among the heaviest hitters in the world of vocal mics. A three-dimensional sound with stunning "airy" response fits most vocalists like a glove, sticking the sound right into the track without the need for much, if any EQ.
