The API The Box is a 20-input recording and mixing console in a smaller form factor than API's other consoles.
The Box features three main sections:
The Box features three main sections:
- 4x mic/line/DI input channels with high-pass filter. 2 of these channels have integral 550A equalizers, 2 of them have empty 500-series slots.
- 16x line input "summing channels" with inserts and cue sends
- Center/monitor section with 2x 527 compressors which can be assigned to the stereo mix or to mic pre channels on the left side of the console
