Offered at a special price due to a dent and uneven finish on the curved section of the body, incurred during manufacturing.

A signature model built like a fortress to support Metallica's massive riffs: the James Hetfield model, equipped with the EMG "Het Set."

James Hetfield is the frontman of Metallica, one of the world's most successful metal bands. The "LTD SNAKEBYTE" is an original-shape model that embodies his personal preferences and years of playing experience.

Fat tone born from traditional construction

Mahogany Construction: Mahogany is used for both the body and neck, delivering rich low-end and a distinctive, punchy midrange. The set-neck construction ensures deep, massive sustain and a cohesive, resonant tone.

Thin U Neck: The "Thin U" neck profile fits comfortably in the hand, facilitating fast riffing and technical playing. An ebony fretboard with 22 frets adds a tight attack and quick note response.

The core of the James Hetfield sound: EMG JH "Het Set"

The Best of Both Worlds: It is equipped with James's own signature pickups, the EMG "JH 'Het Set'."

Active Power & Passive Clarity: These pickups combine the low noise and high output characteristic of active pickups with the clear attack and dynamic range of passive pickups. They deliver outstanding clarity across the entire tonal spectrum—from Metallica's iconic down-picked riffs to fluid, melodic solos.

Pro-spec hardware for stage reliability

Snake Inlay: A "snake" inlay—symbolizing the model's name—adorns the 12th fret, serving as a striking visual accent.

TonePros® Bridge: TonePros® hardware is used for the bridge and tailpiece, ensuring efficient transfer of string vibration to the body. LTD Locking Tuners: Equipped with locking tuners, these provide rock-solid tuning stability—even during intense performances—while also allowing for smooth string changes.

*Please note that due to the manufacturing process, there may be minor polishing marks or slight irregularities in the finish.
