Up for sale, a 1993 Grover Jackson Randy Rhoads Standard in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Produced at the Chushin Gakki factory in Japan, this Jackson features a rare Blue Purple finish and an upgraded pair of DiMarzio Super Distortion humbuckers. This particular Rhoads has been augmented to better resemble an RR1 model, boasting a gold-plated control plate/pickguard and arrow accent tailpiece.
This Rhoads Standard features quartersawn maple neck-through construction, ensuring an exceptionally resonant instrument with great natural sustain, providing an ideal platform for the pair of DiMarzio DP100 Super Distortion humbuckers. DiMarzio’s ever-popular hot-rodded humbucker revolutionized the guitar world when it was introduced in the ‘70s, designed to push a tube amp into creamy overdrive with boosted mids, wide lows, and fat highs. Chords are chunky, and melodic lines have a searing, white-hot singing quality that sits great in a mix. This Randy Rhoads Standard weighs 7lbs 8oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 9-42 strings, slinky action, and accurate intonation.

The unique Blue Purple gloss finish oscillates between blue metallic and purple depending on lighting and viewing angle. The gloss on the neck profile is clean and smooth.
