This interesting banjo from the Classic Era was built around the turn of the century in England or the United States; unfortunately, we were unable to verify the manufacturer.
The 11 14/16" spun-over rim, covered with a calf skin head, has a wonderfully plunky sound with rich bass tones. The straight neck, with its numerous inlays, is a real feast for the eyes.

The instrument plays and sounds wonderful, perfect for classic fingerpicking or clawhammer. The tuners hold the tuning very well.
The banjo shows some signs of age and wear, such as small scratches or scuffs. The oil finish on the neck is cracked. There is a small hole in the skin, but it does not affect the sound or stability. The banjo comes in an old and somewhat flimsy case.
