The Mo’ Bass is a high-power bass guitar amplifier head produced by SWR Sound Corporation, a brand well known for professional bass amplification. Released in the late 1990s, the Mo’ Bass was designed to combine strong clean bass tone with built-in analog effects, which was unusual for bass amps at the time. It delivers around 900 watts of power (split between two channels), allowing players to run stereo setups or bi-amp rigs for greater tonal control. The amplifier includes features such as chorus, octave, envelope filter, overdrive, and compression, along with SWR’s characteristic clear, hi-fi sound that emphasizes tight lows and crisp highs.
