Up for sale is this stunning Gibson Custom Shop 1956 (R6) Historic Reissue VOS Les Paul Standard Goldtop from 2016. This is a particularly unique example, featuring a beautifully warm Goldtop finish paired with a striking black back and all black hardware, giving it a look that truly stands apart from typical R6 models.

It features a hard maple top with a mahogany back and neck, and comes in at a comfortable 4kg, making it nicely balanced without feeling too heavy. The guitar plays exceptionally well, with a substantial ‘56-style neck profile that feels full and authentic in hand. The P-90 pickups deliver a powerful, aggressive tone with plenty of character.

The neck is perfectly straight, the truss rod functions as it should, and the frets have plenty of life remaining. There are no breaks or repairs. Overall condition is excellent, with only light signs of playwear and no noticeable dings or significant blemishes.

It comes complete with the original Custom Shop Lifton hard shell case, along with the original serial number booklet, metal medallion, and all accompanying case candy.
