What a great example of the fine craftsmanship of the era - brazilian rosewood board, double-bound body, headstock veneer etc. This guitar has had only one owner before me and the condition of it will confirm it. The instrument has never been modified or altered in any way (original frets with over 50% fret life left) and it just had a nice bath and set-up and it's ready to go. I am not a luthier, but the action seems slightly higher than normal so it might need some professional attention but that is what I think (as a technical player, I have usually lower than normal action). The binding had separated from the body in few places but it's not rotten, nor chipped - anticipated shrinkage for such an old guitar. No chips, no dents, no cracks. The original case is in good condition, without any odors or broken latches as the guitar had spent all its life in the closet. An amazing project for any player.
