Chameleon Labs CPS-503-PWR*, 1-slot rack extension for a 500 module,

The CPS-503-PWR can be conveniently used on a workbench or alternatively mounted in a 19" rack with optional accessories. When connected in series, the CPS-503 can supply power to up to six additional passive CPS-503-SLVs. It handles both the on/off switching and the 48 V phantom power supply for all connected devices.

The CPS-503-PWR is an active single slot housing for 500 series modules such as compressors and EQs, which is powered by an external power supply. It is ideal for users who prefer tabletop applications, have limited space or insert effects, or want to expand an existing rack setup. The housing is one rack unit high and can be placed securely on a table thanks to rubber feet. You can even connect up to 6 CPS-503 systems together with just one power supply! This not only saves money, but also protects the environment. The housing is powered via the 5-pin power input, while an XLR input and output are also located on the rear panel. In addition to the on/off switch, the front panel also features 48V phantom power for microphoneapplications. If you already own a Chameleon Labs CPS-503-PWR system and would like to expand it, the SLV version is available for purchase. This includes only the device and a matching power patch cable for connecting the two units.
