The Crumar Spirit is a fully-analog, 37-key monophonic keyboard synthesizer, originally designed by Robert Moog, Jim Scott, and Tom Rhea. The Spirit offers two oscillators with an optional drone mode for oscillator B, and a flexible dual filter section. Modulation is available from both the Mod X and Shaper Y sections, offering LFO, sample and hold, arpeggiation, a two stage loopable envelope, and more. Both of these sections may be routed through two modulation wheels for performative control. Two dedicated ADSRs control the amplitude and filter, with multiple gate sources allowing for complex control. The Spirit has two independent signal chains, each controlled by different envelopes and featuring their own mixers, adding both ring mod and a noise source to the timbral options. As a limited run of 100 units worldwide, this new production of Spirits is only available for a limited time.
