1983 Tokai ST-60 Goldstar Sound '54 Reissue Stratocaster (Brown Sunburst)

Made in Japan in 1983, this is a heavily modified and well loved Goldstar Sound model made by Tokai. Two-piece alder body with a poly brown sunburst finish bolted to a soft V maple neck (43mm nut width), it weighs 3.5kg's. This one has the original neck-plate and just about everything else seems to have been replaced as pictured. 
Heavily used vintage condition with loads of wear from plenty of professional level use. A few of the higher frets have been partially scalloped and the back of the neck feels very played and worn. The frets have some pitting and plenty of playwear but were polished prior to listing and play well, the truss was adjusted and the neck is straight. The logo on the headstock has worn off as pictured but the neck stamps prove it's originality.
