Up for sale is a mint Clark/Barber Gainster pedal. It includes the original box and even the "manual" originally sent with the pedal. It has never had velcro attached to it. Purchased in Germany and made in the USA by Clark Amplification.
These pedals are, for the most part, nearly identical to the bigger versions, and are a light overdrive, perfect for adding some amp-like grit to your sound.
Brief history: this is a rather rare, out-of-production pedal made for Clark by Barber pedals. Clark Amplification, the highly-renowned boutique amplifier maker, began producing a larger version of this pedal in 2001. Unhappy with the size of the pedal, Clark enlisted pedal guru Dave Barber to make a smaller version in 2005. Although the pedal developed a somewhat cult following, Barber ceased production around 2012. Recently, Clark Amplification has returned to making the big-box version of this pedal in small numbers and for $750 USD.
