Stereo limiter from EMT.Originally aimed at broadcast, as a peak limiter, this KOlossal compressor will also shine for studio use.

Starts to compress till it glues things together and add punch, as you increase the input level after the - 6db treshold.
After that it's brickwall , and great for parallel compression of percussive material.
So, not a one trick pony, and input/out pout controls, though recessed behind the panel, are easily accessible (two quick thumb screws to hinge the panel).Those are just pots you manoeuver with your fingers, no need to keep a screwdriver around ; )

You might have noticed that it doesn't have the two pre-emphasis cards.i've read from original manual that they were actually optional, and as a matter of fact, unless you really want to use it for broadcast limiter function, they have no use for what you want to do with it today, which is probably using it as a stereo comp in the studio.
