Wing Series is known as first solid type guitars produced by Washburn from 1979 to 1981 under the supervision of Daion Mfg. Group at the famous Yamaki factory in Japan. Wing's Vulture I bass was designed after Daion's own higher end model Mark X, from which it had adopted overall concept and number of technical solutions. Construction-wise the model keeps up with 80s guitar design, it utilizes neckthrough construction, funky stained ash body, powerful DiMarzio-style pickups, heavy brass hardware and grand r'n'r design. The bass is totally in the vein of Ibanez MCs, Greco GOBs, Aria SBs, Fernandes MHBs and that sort of a thing.
Condition is good! Instrument had been completely restored (full "before and after"series of photos can bee seen on our instаgгаm page: /otisfunkyjunk). Technically's in good shape. Cosmetically there still some traces of repair visible (like glue seams on the body and on the headstock). Everything was tested out to meet instrument's great playability.
The bass is set to 1/16-5/64 inch (1.8-2.0mm) action at 12th fret, but you can lower the strings if needed. May include a hard case for extra 50$ (please ask for options), or a gigbag (got variety of those starting from 10$, ask for details).
Please do not hesitate to contact me if got any questions. Can provide extra photos, video- and sound- samples if needed.
