The Stentor Violin family are widely regarded as the leading string manufacturer in the UK today. Stentor have their own factory in China where production is closely monitored to ensure high quality good value instruments. All Stentor outfits are supplied with a correctly fitted bride which is in position to play and a fitted chin rest.
The Stentor Student II violin is recommended by many teachers and music services as the optimum teaching instrument. The violin is handcarved from selected tonewoods and is fitted with ebony pegs to improve tuning and ebony fingerboard to promote stability in the neck. The outfit includes a cake of rosin, good quality wood bow with ebony frog and the violin is also fitted with much better quality rope core strings. The outfit is completed by a lightweight case with integral cover and carrying shoulder straps.
