I'm selling my Haar Telecaster, bought in 2011 from Gregor Hilden. It still has the old, Fender-style headstock. Beautiful, light relicing - noticeable but not overdone. The guitar sounds amazing in all positions, really fat neck PU sound (great for Jazz!) and a strong, cutting bridge PU.
The neck is pretty big and round (reminds me of Gibson's '58 Les Paul reissue neck size), but very comfortable to play (even for someone with small hands, like me). The guitar is currently set up with 10 gauge strings and plays amazingly. No dead notes or fretting out, very even across the fretboard.
Weight is 3440 grams on my kitchen scale. The frets show a little wear in the lower register, but nothing that I would notice during playing. They definitely have quite a bit of life left.
The guitar came without a certificate or specsheet. I recently contacted Eric van der Haar about that, and he confirmed that back then there were no certificates or specsheets. The pickups are likely Peter Florance Voodoos, the body swamp ash.
Comes with a nice Thomann tweed case.
