1924 VEGA VEGAPHONE ARTIST PLECTRUM BANJO
Today we’re offering you a beautiful, early, and—above all—unmodified Vegaphone Artist in its original case. A little gem with a lovely patina, a carved neck heel, and engraved, gold-plated hardware—in fully playable condition! The serial number 72123 (1924) is stamped on the dowel stick and on the inside of the bell.
Length: 96 cm
Scale length: 67.5 cm
Nut width: 30 mm
The neck is straight, and the string action is low. The frets were replaced at some point (slightly thicker than standard Vega frets) and show some wear, but they’re still in good enough condition to ensure you’ll have plenty of fun with this instrument for years to come. There are superficial signs of age and wear; the original case has also seen plenty of use but still serves its purpose.
This instrument is used! Pictures are part of the description.
