The Epiphone Prophecy Les Paul is a modern take on the legendary Gibson classic, designed entirely with modern playing techniques in mind. Its mahogany body features an Ultra Modern weight relief and is topped with a maple top with figured bird’s-eye maple veneer. A contoured neck-to-body joint and the rear body cut-away make playing easier, whilst the set-in, thermally treated maple neck with a slim HyperGlide profile feels comfortable in the hand, even during fast runs. With its extended 25.5-inch scale length, ebony fingerboard featuring a 10-inch to 14-inch compound radius and 24 stainless steel frets, the Prophecy Les Paul is particularly well-suited to modern playing styles and lower tunings. Two Fishman Fluence humbuckers, specially tuned for the Prophecy series, deliver three distinct tonal characters, ranging from active high-output sounds through classic vintage PAF tones to transparent single-coil-style sounds. A LockTone Modern Bridge with through-body string routing, Grover Locking Rotomatics and a Graph Tech nut round off the modern specification. The package also includes a Protector Ultralite case.
