Unique trumpet Couesnon Bb/C

For sale: a unique Couesnon trumpet, made in Paris, with tuning options for both Bb and C. Manufactured approximately between 1935 and 1960, this is a relatively rare Couesnon model. The instrument has undergone repairs and a full service; all valves and slides operate smoothly. There are no major dents or scratches - only signs of wear consistent with its age. As the original lacquer was partially worn, it was removed from the bellpipe and the leadpipe, revealing polished brass in those areas; the lacquer remains intact elsewhere. Both the Bb and C configurations function flawlessly. It is an instrument with a wonderful timbre and an incredibly beautiful sound. Includes a case (possibly the original) and a mouthpiece.
