Description:

The Hosco TL-NF3A file set provides three double-edge files specifically for slotting acoustic guitar nuts. Each file features two different gauge sizes on opposite edges, allowing you to cut slots for a wide range of string gauges. The set covers common acoustic string gauges from .016"/.042" (0.41mm/1.07mm) up to .036"/.055" (0.91mm/1.40mm), ensuring a precise fit for standard to medium string sets. These tools are sized for efficiency, reducing the number of individual files needed on a workbench.

With a 190mm (7.5in) total length and 100mm (4in) blade, these files offer comfortable handling and reach for detailed work. They are essential for luthiers and technicians performing nut maintenance, string height adjustments, or full nut replacement on acoustic instruments. The specialized double-edge construction provides professional results when shaping nut slots to match specific string diameters, ensuring better tuning stability and playability for the player.
