Late 1980s Seagull 6 / Early S6 Original Acoustic Guitar – Handmade in Canada – Original Schaller TunersVintage Canadian-made Seagull dreadnought with original W. Germany Schaller tuners, professional bridge repair, comfortable medium action, excellent neck/frets, and aftermarket soft gig bag includedThis late 1980s Seagull 6 / early S6 Original acoustic is a great player-grade example from Seagull’s early Canadian production era. The inside label identifies it as a Seagull 6 model, and the guitar features the classic early Seagull headstock logo, natural dreadnought body, black pickguard, and original Schaller tuning machines marked Made in W. Germany. This guitar has a warm, open, woody acoustic sound with the full feel and projection of a dreadnought body. It is a strong choice for strumming, folk, singer-songwriter playing, country, worship, recording, and everyday acoustic use. The neck and frets are in excellent condition, and the guitar has been professionally repaired, restrung, tuned, and made ready to play. The bridge had previously lifted significantly, which had caused the action to become high. The bridge repair was professionally completed by a luthier and helped bring the action down to a more comfortable medium range. The result is a much more playable guitar with better feel, cleaner response, and a proper player-grade setup rather than a project instrument.Condition:Good vintage/player-grade physical condition overall with normal cosmetic wear from age and use. The body shows small dings, scratches, finish marks, and handling wear around the top, back, sides, pickguard, bridge area, and edges. Please review the photos for the exact cosmetic condition. The bridge had previously lifted significantly, and it was professionally repaired by a luthier. There are two small cracks/repair marks near the bridge area from the bridge repair, visible in the close-up photos. After the repair, the guitar was restrung and tuned, and the action now sits in a comfortable medium range. The neck and frets are in excellent condition. The original Schaller tuners are intact and marked Made in W. Germany. One bridge pin appears to be a slightly different colour than the others.Includes:Late 1980s Seagull 6 / Early S6 Original Acoustic Guitar – Handmade in CanadaAftermarket Soft Gig Bag – Included for storage and transportOriginal Schaller Tuners – Marked Made in W.
