This is a Paul Reed Smith (PRS) Carlos Santana Signature SE Santana, manufactured in 2012. This SE Santana model features the same silhouette as the Maryland-made PRS models in the SE series, which traces its roots back to the 2001 SE Santana?the model that laid the foundation for the SE series. It features a flamed maple veneer/maple top and mahogany back, a wide-fat mahogany neck, a 24.5-inch scale rosewood fingerboard, two PRS-designed humbuckers, and a PRS-designed tremolo bridge. With its signature rich, lustrous tone, this is a versatile instrument suitable not only as an artist model but also for a wide range of musical genres. There are signs of use (such as minor scratches, scuffs, wear, playing marks, picking marks, rust on the pickup pole pieces, and tarnish or pitting on metal parts and screws). Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions (tightening and loosening); it has been tested to operate within }60‹ and is in good working order.
