Marshall lives and breathes distortion. It's where it's created, shaped and projected. That's why expectations were high when the original Shredmaster was released in 1991. It promised high-gain distortion, perfect for saturated rhythms and searing solos. Delivering new levels of distortion, the original Shredmaster was used on numerous tracks in the late '90s. Demand for the Shredmaster's distinct, thrashy sound skyrocketed as a result, but the pedal remained hard to come by. With this authentic and faithful reissue, that will no longer be a problem.Guitarists will have an exact reproduction of the original Shredmaster in their hands. The components and features that made it so special have been carefully recreated for today's guitarists. The 5-knob layout allows you to adjust gain, volume and EQ: unlike many distortion pedals, the Shredmaster features a Contour knob that works on the mid frequencies without creating interactions with the other frequencies, allowing you to close or open the mids to refine the sound.
