About this listing
The Zen-Zen is a boutique overdrive pedal handcrafted in the USA by Sean Michael (Lovepedal), launched in 2019. It combines two Zendrive-style circuits in a single enclosure, inspired by the sound of Dumble amplifiers, allowing them to be used independently or in cascade to achieve a very wide range of tones, from a transparent and dynamic overdrive to a rich, smooth, and very singing saturation. Each channel has its own controls, offering precise gain and tone control, while the stacking of the two stages provides significant sustain without sacrificing definition. Highly sensitive to pick attack and the guitar's volume potentiometer, it is particularly appreciated for blues, fusion, jazz-rock, and classic rock styles, in the vein of Robben Ford, Larry Carlton, or Eric Johnson. Produced in limited quantities, it has become quite sought after on the used market.More pix and details upon request. Shipping worldwide available.
